Dear Occasions,

Thank you for hosting the wedding for my daughter Sonja and son in law Joe Frans. I can remember when Sonja was 4 years old playing dress up and wishing for the perfect wedding. I have prayed my whole life for God to bless Sonja with a soul mate and for God to provide the perfect wedding for Sonja.

I search the internet and found about 10 locations. I knew from the time I viewed Occasions website that God had planned for Sonja and Joe to get married at the Chapel at Occasions.

Sonja and Joe agreed to tour the location. So we set up an appointment with the office. I can remember pulling up in the parking lot and they both lit up. I could see the joy in their face. We tour the Grand Ballroom 1st. The tables are decorated so fancy with gorgeous table arrangements. The dance floor and the special lighting are very impressive. The Chapel is decorated so pretty. Sonja loves the stair case and the ivory satin chair covers.

Betty went above and beyond to help Sonja and Joe. I am so blessed and thankful for the service that were provided. The prices are very reasonable and we were given lots of options to help customize our needs. Angela Johnson did an awesome job. She made Sonja and Joe feel like royalty. She captured all the little details on the pictures and they are perfect.

On the wedding day Angela and Donna made sure everything went stress free. The bridal suite is so cool. Sonja and the bridesmaid had so much space to get ready. Joe and the groomsmen had fun playing games and enjoyed the snacks.

The Ceremony was perfect. Everyone could hear and had plenty of seating room. Every moment and every detail was stress free. The staff at Occasions took care of every thing.

Peter the motivator DJ did an awesome job. He made the reception so much fun. All of the guests were so impress with the Love story. The introductions of the bridesmaids & groomsmen made the entire guest feel that they knew them on a personal level. Peter was so kind and is truly blessed with a talent of making people feel good.

Occasions at Stone River was everything we had hoped for and then some! From the moment that we first stepped foot on the property, to the moment we drove away on the night of our wedding, we were treated like royalty. We want to especially thank Betty for all of her help and answering our many emails. She wanted to make our day perfect and she did. The amenities are unbelievable and we could not have asked for more. Every detail was paid attention to! There is no where on this earth that we could have gotten all that we did and at such a great price. This is definitely THE place to have your dream wedding!

Occasions at Stone River gave me the most amazing wedding ever! Being the first to ever book with Occasions off of the floor plans, I have had the opportunity the watch it grow into such a wonderful wedding facility. The staff is professional and dependable. They were very easy to work with and really cared about what we wanted. They customize every wedding to fit each couple. Their prices are also very reasonable. Although each bride may use the vendor of her choice, the vendors they recommended made it a lot easier on the planning process for the bride. We used one of their DJ's (Michael O'Brien), florist (Darby from Rockwall Flowers), and executive chef (Zach). They all did such a great job and we were very pleased with their work.

The bride is treated like a princess at Occasions. It is all about her and her special day. The bridal suite upstairs is the coolest bridal suite I have ever seen! The bride and bridesmaids have more than enough space to get ready. My favorite part was that the suite had its own separate air conditioning unit so the bride can stay as cool as she wants! My husband loved the groom's suite because there were so many games that him and his groomsmen could play to relieve stress before the ceremony. They also provided snacks and drinks in the bride and groom suites.

The ceremony was elegant and sweet. It was the perfect size for the amount of people attending. Everything was organized and set up beautifully. The reception was awesome!! Everything was exactly how I wanted it or better! The food was so good, the table decorations were beautiful, and the music was awesome. We liked how we were constantly being asked by the staff if we needed anything. The entire evening was such a blast, especially the dancing part of the reception. My husband and I still talk about how much fun we had.

Betty Crenshaw and her staff worked very hard to make sure all details were taken care of. She tried to make everything simpler and less stressful for me. I was able to put my complete trust in her and she always went above and beyond what was asked of her. I could not have asked for anything more. She is the nicest and most sincere person you will ever meet.

I have heard nothing but good reports from many of my friends and family since the wedding. They all said it was so beautiful. Everyone had such a great time. Most importantly, my husband and I loved every minute of the most important day of our lives!

From the very beginning, I have been so impressed with Occasions and it was a joy being able to work with Betty and the staff there. It was such a great experience that my husband and I will never forget! I highly recommend Occasions at Stone River. They made everything absolutely perfect! It truly was the wedding of my dreams! Occasions at Stone River is an amazing facility. It is absolutely stunning, and the employees all the way to the amazing owners are involved in every step of the big day. Occasions really worked with our budget to make my fantasy dream wedding become a reality on a budget... I could not have dreamed of a more beautiful wedding. All of the amenities that they offer especial Peter is just amazing..... All of you are the best, and I could not ask for a better place to have gotten married....

Occasions Staff:

Matt and I had a vision for our wedding. We were to be married in Vegas in a garden. After we learned that a lot of our friends and family could not make it, we scrambled to fine a place. I called Peter Silander, the Motivator DJ, and he advised that he knew of the perfect place for a magical day it was Occasions at Stone River in Royse City. When we arrived, they were still under construction. You could see that it was going to be beautiful. We spoke with Betty Crenshaw and she was so helpful. Betty has an on staff Chef that was amazing. The menu was very affordable and had so many options.

There were several packages to choose from. There are so many positive things to this location. The bridal suite is separate from the bridesmaid's suite, but close to each other. This will allow room and privacy for the bride to get prepared for her day. In the groom and groomsmen's suite, they have foosball, a poker table and the Wii. We watched over the next few months and saw a wonderful transformation.

When the construction was complete, the garden was breathtaking. There is a pond sitting next to a white bridge with white swans. The Gazebo sets between the pond and the golf course as a back drop. Prior to our wedding date, Peter the Motivator DJ had Matt, my son Corbin and I do a recording of our "love story". This recording was played at the beginning of our reception. It was so touching, many people cried. Peter adds such a special touch to your wedding planning. I couldn't have asked for a better DJ. He is the most energetic person I have ever met.

Betty went above and beyond to ensure that I had my dream wedding. The day of my wedding it rained. At the last minute we had to plan for an indoor wedding in the chapel at Occasions at Stone River. Matt and I were not prepared for decorations or flowers for an indoor wedding. Betty worked her magic and made certain that we had everything we needed. The chapel was just gorgeous. Not only did Betty ensure that myself and Matt were taken care of, she had her staff helped my guest from the chapel to the reception hall with umbrellas so that they would stay dry. It is little things gestures such as this that make Occasions at Stone River a stand alone, top choice wedding location that will meet your every need. Betty said from the beginning when we first met her that she cares for each and every one of her brides. I will tell you that she means every word of that promise. After our wedding we received so may compliments. Most said that it was the most beautiful and fun wedding they have ever attended. You will find that Occasions at Stone River add such a personal touch that you will not see anywhere else. I have faith that our wedding was meant to be at Occasions at Stone River. It was meant to be our perfect fairy tale wedding.

I wanted to tell you that I am still very emotional when I stop and think about how perfect this day was for Kaitlan and Matt. They had a beautiful, beautiful wedding thanks to Occasions. Seeing my life-long dream of "The Perfect Wedding" unfold right before my eyes; confirmed that this was the perfect place! From the very first consultation, where we were introduced with the vision of Occasions', to driving away in our "Get-away" car on our Wedding Day, everything ran smoothly and stress-free. Peter the "Motivator DJ" did an outstanding job! I still get people raving about the fun they had at the reception! Peter customized our Wedding Reception to fit our personalities, and it was reflected in the amount of time Peter spent with us making sure everything was perfect. The "Love Story" unfolded the history of how we fell in love, the personal introductions of the wedding party allowed the guests to learn more about our party, but my favorite, was the recording I made for my dad that played over our "Father/ Daughter Dance." Peter is a "Must-Have" at your wedding!

Dear Occasions,

Our Wedding was March 21st, and it still feels like it was just yesterday. We still can't believe how amazing it was. The Occasions' staff did an excellent job. I still think about how beautiful the Bridal Suite was decorated and how it had all the personal touches. All of my family and Bridal Party were extremely impressed. We were constantly checked on to make sure that anything and everything we needed, we had. The Chapel was exactly how I imagined. As do most Brides, every girl has this image that they've had since they were little girls of how they want their 'day' to be. Everything I had ever wanted was accomplished and MORE. The Grand Ball room was exactly how we wanted. Our Reception was more than we ever imagined. We couldn't of asked for a better DJ, he made sure that all of our requests were met and kept the whole crowd moving. The slide show that Angela had made was beautiful. We actually have people still asking if they can get copies of it because they've never seen anything put together as sweet and professional as her presentation was. Angela was the BEST Photographer. She honestly made me feel like a Princess. Every moment of that day was captured.We couldn't of asked for anything better. Betty, you really are an amazing person. I couldn't of done this without you. You have made this day a day to remember. We've only known each other for a couple months, but I feel like it's been years. I remember the first day we met, and I'm so glad we had the opportunity to experience this with you and the Staff @ Occasions'. I have nothing but great memories of that day and I owe it to you. It is an honor to say that I was the 'First Bride at Occasions at Stone River'. That's something that I'll always remember.

Dear Occasions,

Thank you for hosting the wedding of our dreams. Justin and I knew we were to have our wedding at Occasions at Stone River from the very first meeting. The structure was up, and the rest was portrayed in beautiful detail for our imagination to create the perfect picture. As the months went by, we found our wedding desires coming true. The location is absolutely stunning. It chapel represented every aspect we were looking for. Justin felt it was important to have the ceremony in a Church, but after listening to the hearts of Johnny and Betty Crenshaw, we knew we were exactly where we needed to be. I had been browsing through bridal magazines for years, and had everything clipped for my ideal wedding. Occasions went above and beyond with it all. From the best flowers arrangements to the exact chairs and table overlays- they had it all!

The four months leading up to the wedding were intense, but it was definitely manageable with the amazing staff. Darby was my personal wedding coordinator, and she was a tremendous help! She was available for me any time I needed her! Justin and I wanted everything to run smooth. Darby was always one step ahead of me. It was great to know that every detail was getting taken care of.

Our rehearsal was on the coldest day in March, so we asked for the rehearsal to be quick, and we finished without any problems. I gave Darby the last minute details, and when we walked in the next afternoon, everything was picture-perfect.

The Wedding Day was completely peaceful. The Bridal suite was amazing. We had plenty of room to get ready, and had so much fun getting to relax before the evening started. The groomsmen said they had a great time in the Groom's room playing on the Wii! Moments before the ceremony began, the flower girl got sick and her mom took her home, Darby was able to accommodate the change quickly and the processional looked perfect!

The Chapel's décor only enhanced our formal pictures, the stage is absolutely gorgeous! The Banquet Hall fit our guests perfectly, which was a nice surprise, finding out that we had planned for 125 guests and 160 stayed for the Reception! Johnny, Betty and the staff quickly added more tables to facilitate the extra guests. Johnny and Betty even provided the food to feed them! What an exceptional heart of service.

I recommend Occasions at Stone River to each and every bride who wants to know their wedding will be incomparable, unique and most importantly a "Dream Come True!"

I just wanted to tell you how much we appreciated and enjoyed your venue last Saturday night for our daughter's wedding. Your new facility turned out awesome. Everyone I talked to during the night was awed by the elegance of the decor and all the special touches that you incorporated to make it feel like home. It was amazing! All of your furnishings and details in the bridal suite, groom's quarters and lounge areas are delightful and I cannot think of anything that would make it better. The food was delicious and the ballroom and chapel are stunning. Peter is amazing also. I have listened to the recording he made with Rachel and Justin several times already. We loved it all.
